Bankruptcy Counseling Solutions

ClearPoint recently submitted its application to the Executive Office of the U.S. Trustees (EOUST) to conduct bankruptcy counseling. Our request for approval has been received and is currently in review. All applicants must go through the same approval process, and we look forward to hearing back from EOUST shortly. The requirements for consideration include the following:

  1. Non-profit status. ClearPoint has been a registered non-profit credit counseling agency since its inception over 25 years ago.
  2. Experience. It is crucial that credit counselors conducting bankruptcy counseling sessions have the experience and skill set necessary to handle a client's personal financial situation. Our Financial Specialists are seasoned counselors who approach each client's case with confidentiality, professionalism and sensitivity.
  3. Accreditations. ClearPoint is an accredited agency with the Council on Accreditation. Each of our counselors is also NFCC-certified.
  4. Affiliations. Our membership in good standing with both the NFCC and with the Better Business Bureau will play a role our qualification for bankruptcy counseling.

ClearPoint looks forward to the opportunity to reach more consumers and help them make informed choices about their financial future. Through financial education and counseling, we will be able to have a long-term impact on the attitudes and behaviors of a larger number of consumers, and help many more Americans focus on a successful financial future.
